Virgil Bozeman, Artistic Director

Virgil received his BA in Music Literature and Performance from Northeastern University, where he studied voice with Jeanne Segal and conducting with Dr. Joshua Jacobson. He became student director of the NU Chamber Singers during his junior year. After graduating from Northeastern, Virgil received his MM in Choral Music at the University of Illinois, where he studied conducting with Drs. Don Moses and Fred Stoltzfus, choral literature with Dr. Chester Alwes, and voice with Dr. Barrington Coleman.

He is currently the Choral Music Teacher at Richmond Middle/High School, and the Senior Choir Director at South Parish Congregational Church in Augusta.
